Keep In Touch

The mindfulness challenges

In June we held the second of our mindfulness challenges for children, and first one devoted to awakening our senses – testing our sight with the photography challenge, My Lockdown Lens. We were blown away by how many entries we received from young people within our community. The photos were of the highest quality, the competition was stark, and most of all it was wonderful to see the diverse array of things that made young people smile!

Make a piece of relief artwork

Due to the huge popularity, we are continuing the theme of awakening our senses. Our next one is a sensory challenge, called ‘Keep In Touch.’ We’re asking all our young app users to get their creative ‘gloves’ on, and make a piece of relief artwork. Spaghetti artwork, Play Doh models, Lego masterpieces. You name it, and they’ve made it!

Entries for ‘Keep In Touch’ are closing on Friday 17th September and the winners for both 11 and over and 10 and under age categories will be named the week after. There’s plenty of time to get your entry in and invigorate your senses!

Our aim is to bring a different sensory challenge every other month, so watch this space for the next competition in November.

Our wellbeing challenges are designed in partnership with MindfulnessUK
