Beat those Winter Blues
We kicked off this challenge to light a fire under each team member, urging everyone to wear their walking shoes and get outside, whether drizzling, freezing or anything in between. The goal is straightforward: make walking a regular part of our routine, share the highs and lows, and rack up as many miles as possible to show how dedicated we are to staying healthy in body and mind. You might be asking, “Why walk?” Well, it’s easy to get into, doesn’t cost a penny, and has this incredible way of making you feel good. Strolling through the great outdoors, especially when it’s a bit nippy, can help shake off the stress and anxiety. Plus, it’s a great way to fend off those extra winter calories without getting stuck in a gym.
Working or walking together?
The sense of togetherness has been truly amazing. We’ve bonded as a team, from swapping pics of our scenic walks to celebrating each other’s achievements and even getting together for weekend walks. It’s a constant reminder that even though we might be physically apart, we’re all in this together.As we keep moving this winter, the benefits are clear for all to see. We’re not just talking about getting in better shape; our moods are brighter, we feel more connected as a team, and we all feel stronger in those gloomy winter days.
