The November report: week 4

Four go live

The end of November didn’t show signs of slowing down. With Christmas approaching, the account management and support teams experience one of the busiest times of the year – especially with new customer implementations.

In the last week of November, we had four new organisations going live with our apps across the UK. We’re excited to welcome Brighter Futures for Children (Reading), Stoke-on-Trent Children’s Services, York Children’s Services, and North Lanarkshire Children’s Services to our community.

If you’ve ever managed or implemented a change project, you’ll know that delivering training is just the end result. It’s the tip of the iceberg. Before training can happen, we spend three to five weeks helping organisations get set up and ready to go live so that everything is in place to make our apps as successful as possible.

Even though we put a lot of organisation and time into to our comprehensive implementation plans, this month has passed in the blink of an eye. I guess time does fly when you’re having fun!

Productive, enjoyable and memorable

The team ended the month with a fantastic co-production session with a group of young people from Birmingham Children’s Trust.

We’re proud to organise a strict co-production calendar with young people using care services across the UK. At least every two months we run workshops with young people of all ages looking at how our apps can be improved, thinking of and designing new features and much more. In short, to make sure our products are continually relevant and useful to young people, we work hard to keep those end users involved in every phase of our product development.

We are well into Advent – where did the month go? Thanks for reading about our productive, enjoyable and memorable November 2019! Here are weeks 1,2 and 3, in case you missed them:
