As January draws to a close, our community in Australia and New Zealand are gearing up to go back to school.

As we celebrate this Matariki, let's take a moment to empower and uplift our rangatahi, for they hold the power to transform not only their own lives, but also our collective futures. 

Last month I ventured out from the shores of Aotearoa for my first trip to the United Kingdom. I had a wonderful time meeting with the rest of the Mind Of My Own team in person, instead of through a screen like I’ve been doing for the last four years.

Here at Mind Of My Own we recently attended an hour long session on Māori language and culture as part of our efforts to understand more about the people and culture of New Zealand (also known as Aotearoa).

We’re very pleased to announce that we have partnered with Child Wise to collaborate on amplifying the child’s voice in Australia and the UK.
